About the Speaker: Eddie Burke leads Marketing and Communications at Cook Ross, a consulting firm that for 30 years has partnered with the world’s most influential organizations to create inclusive leadership and cultures.  In his role, Eddie brings knowledge and expertise on the complex challenges and issues facing our client organizations today as we move our organization and clients forward in brave bold ways to shape a sustainable and inclusive future.  Eddie works on a daily basis with the Executive Team and our team of Consultants to fully support organizations in advancing their diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in powerful ways.

OFCCP Update: Let’s Discuss the New OFCCP Director and New Developments in OFCCP Enforcement – Plus Everything You Wanted to Know About Pay Equity But Were Afraid to Ask (Be a Little Afraid, But Ask Anyway)

Guest speaker Mickey Silberman is Chair of the Affirmative Action & Pay Equity Practice Group at Fortney & Scott, LLC. He is a nationally acclaimed expert and speaker in the areas of affirmative action, OFCCP, EEO and Pay Equity.

Mickey will talk to us about OFCCP’s new National Director, Ondray Harris, and the Agency, which has changed its focus, especially in the area of pay discrimination investigations. After years of trying to figure out how to investigate pay, OFCCP is now bringing back multi-million dollar settlements. And OFCCP’s new and effective enforcement approach is just one piece of the quickly growing Pay Equity puzzle. Plaintiffs and state and local enforcement agencies are getting more aggressive and extracting big settlements from unsuspecting employers.

Join us to learn about these developments and what you can do to protect your organization.
